Exhibition: Architecture, Landscape and the City

Catch this exhibition which is on until 14 December in Western Bank library (where we had our Hunter Centenary exhibition in 2012) – architect Peter Blundell-Jones gave his students a project to study Sheffield city centre as it was in 1900 and to create a model.
The model is on display – above you can see the Sheffield Castle site, with the Don bottom right and the Old Town Hall in the rear – note the cementation furnace in the centre front. Also in the exhibition are examples of Peter’s writing and his work, which includes his renovation of Padley Mill.
