Sheffield Castle site has a new name and revised opening date
Sunday 27 September 2026 3:34 pm

The new park being developed on the site of Sheffield Castle is to be known as Castle Hill Park. The name was unveiled at an event on Castlegate recently, along with a series of new panels showing artwork of the site site through time, which brighten up the concrete wall.
The revised programme indicates that the completed park and the River Sheaf works are expected to be delivered together by summer 2028.
